Curly & Shaggy's Story...
Introducing cutie pies Curly and Shaggy! Curly is the 2 year old female on left and Shaggy is the 6 year old male on right. They are spayed and neutered Cockapoos (Cocker Spaniel/Poodle mixes). Curly and Shaggy have been kept as outside dogs for the majority of their lives and will need their future forever owner to be patient with them as they adjust to living inside a home. We have learned that Curly may have some separation anxiety but she does so much better when Shaggy is near her. Shaggy seems to be a pretty easy going boy and absolutely loves belly rubs! Curly loves to play with tennis balls. They do need to go to a home together as they are very bonded. They appear to have done well with some of the shelter dogs so far, too! Curly and Shaggy will provide lots of smile because they are energetic little sweethearts but they also will provide just as much love as they are wonderful snugglers! We can't say enough good about these two! Are there two places in your home for Curly and Shaggy?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Curly & Shaggy, a Michigan City Cocker Spaniel/Poodle (Standard) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Poodle (Standard) for sale in Michigan City, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Poodle (Standard) dog from a breeder in Michigan City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Michigan City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Michigan City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Poodle (Standard) breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Poodle (Standard) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Michigan City paves the way for another one to be saved.
