Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ricotta
Born ~August 2016, Female Red and Brown Tabby DSH
Special $75 Adoption fee
I am always drawn to cats who have red tabby stripes alternating with brown tabby stripes. This lovely litter had to be out of the shelter by 8:00 the night I got them. I had to take them since no other rescue was there for them and I am so glad I did. We are calling this litter of four girl kittens “The Cheeses”. They are Camembert (Cami), Gouda, Ricotta (Ricki) and Pepper Jack (Pepper). Calico tabby Kangaroo, who came to us at the same time, is an honorary member of this group. They are beautiful kittens.
Ricki is smaller than her sister Cami the other striped calico. and she is very loving. She likes to be held and cuddled and is a good-natured girl. She has a lot of trust in humans. Since she is a kitten, the world is her toy. She explores everything and plays up a storm but her sister Cami sort of dominates her and my plan is to separate these two. I would love to send them home in pairs but please note that does not include the pair of Ricki and Cami.
These kittens are green eyed, short haired, very finely detailed beautiful girls. My photos are not very good unfortunately. These kittens take my breath away with their beauty. Ricki can be identified by the red on her head just above her nose. Cami’s red splotch on her nose is a bit higher and less well defined. Ricki has a wonderful bright red tabby hind right leg also easy to recognize.
Ricotta eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.
Ricki’s foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
Contact Harriet at (831) 336-2983 or toharrietjane@comcast.net if you have questions, or send an Adoption Application. If you are unable to reach Harriet by phone or email, email us at Info@purebredsplus.org.
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
