Important Note

Kodiak is best friends with Archie. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
COURTESY POSTING: Archie and Kodiak are best of friends and are looking for a home together! Archie is a male, almost 6 year old, weighs 75 lbs, and is likely German Shepard and Lab. He has an absolutely wonderful, loving personality, and is still a puppy the way he acts. He has been professionally trained, and is house broken. Kodiak appears to be a German Shepard - Corgi mix. She is about 8 years old, weighs 65 lbs and has a unique look to her in that she has the body of a Shepard, but is short like a Corgi. She is also super loving, and loyal, and she is also house broken. Both are spayed/neutered.

About Born Free Pet Shelter

About Our Shelter...

Born Free Pet Shelter is a No Kill 501(c)(3) non-profit dog rescue organization that has been helping homeless dogs since 1980. Located on a beautiful 5-acre refuge in the Redlands of South Florida, Born Free rescues dogs in distress and offers them the chance to lead happy and healthy lives.
We are currently responsible for over 160 dogs, ranging from puppies to seniors.
With the help of generous donations and the tireless efforts of our volunteers, we provide the love and care that they deserve.
Some of our dogs will live out their days at the shelter, but we have so many that would make wonderful companions if given the chance.

Come Meet Our Pets...

You can meet our adoptable dogs at any of these locations:
Petco (1635 NW 107th Avenue) every Saturday 12pm - 3pm
Petsmart (13621 S Dixie Hwy) every Sunday 11am - 3pm
Petco (Miami Beach) 1st Saturday of every month

For adoptions, please send an email to geraldinebornfree@gmail.com.

Our Adoption Process...

At the time of adoption it is essential that a fee be charged as it will be used to feed and maintain the animals that are housed at our shelter. The adoption fee includes DHPP vaccine, rabies vaccine, microchip and sterilization. We do a home check prior to approving any adoption.
