Hi! I'm Lola! I was surrendered by my elderly owners because, simply, they didn't want me. They kept me chained outside and didn't feed me. I was emaciated. They were going to take me to the woods and shoot me but someone saved me and now I'm healthy, beautiful and looking for my true forever home! You couldn't ask for a sweeter or more loving dog! I'm approx. 2-3 years old and approx. 55-60 pounds(12/8). I'm extremely sweet, loving, friendly and playful. I'm well socialized and have never met a stranger. You'll see how wonderful and happy I am in my video! I'm great with older kids and other dogs. I haven't been around young kids but my foster thinks I'd do just fine with them because I'm so great. I haven't been tested with cats. I'm highly intelligent and learn quickly! I need some basic training but I'm already house trained and sleep in the bed with my foster. I have a happy go lucky temperament and love everyone! I've never met a stranger! I have the Labrador personality! I really enjoy being petted and loved on. The more love and attention I get, the better! I'm an active dog and love to play. I'm very agile. I'd love to get a forever person or family that would play with me, take me for walks or running, take me hiking, boating and even camping. All pets come with up-to-date vaccines, deworming, microchip, and health certificate from veterinarian within 48-72 hrs of transport. All pets come from NC/VA (our euthanasia rate is approx 85%) and must be quarantined (to ensure health) prior to leaving the state. We go ahead and post them in hopes of them having a home ready and waiting for them to go, once their quarantine period is over. We also adopt into Canada.
