Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name’s Penny! I’m a shepherd cross, rescued from up north, and the vet thinks I’m about 10 months old. I love people, and will do anything for a little love and attention! I’m happy to play, or just lie at (or on!) your feet.
I’m can be a bit chewy still (but I don’t bite), so I may not be quite the best for very small kids. Cats are interesting, but I don’t want to hurt them, just check them out, and see if maybe they’ll play. I can be a bit jealous of other dogs, so you’ll have to patient with me, or let me be your one and only best friend!
I’m house trained and crate trained, and have just started some basic obedience training at home with my foster family, so you’ll have to have some time and patience to help me with that, and maybe take me to a class. I’m pretty darn smart, though, and love my treats, so I think I’ll be easy to train. I already have good recall, as I most like to be where you are! I’ve done well at the small off-leash park so far, and I’m quite energetic, being so young, so I’ll need a good walk or run every day.
I really just want my own person / people to love. If I sound like the best friend for you, please let New Hope know!
