Nzingah's Story...
**PLEASE READ TO THE END FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION.**
Nzingha is ready for Christmas! All she wants this year is a family. Nzingha is a tiny 2.8 lb puppy. She will weigh approximately 6 to 7 lbs when she grows up. She loves to be held and babied. Nzingha needs a loving and gentle family to give her the life she dreams of. We rescued Nzingha from a local shelter. She had mange and a little cold, but is doing so much better now and is ready for the next step on her way to her furever family. She gets spayed next week and will be ready just in time for her Christmas fairytail.

If you would like to adopt Nzingha, please fill out an application at www.TexasChihuahuaRescue.com. Her adoption fee, including vetting paperwork and microchip registration to adopter, is $300.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nzingah, a San Antonio Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
