My name is Katy, and I have been waiting for a happy home for a while. My brother, Perry, and I were born in a very scary place. It was filled with other cats and was covered in trash! We would both try to fend for ourselves, but we came to realize we were in someones' house. Unfortunately, the lady who owned the house had a problem--she just kept collecting more and more stuff. She was so overwhelmed that she wasn't able to care for me and my brother. We hid and got sick fairly quickly, and we weren't able to find much food. When we arrived at VFTA, we placed in a foster home together. It was still pretty scary, but we had food, water and shelter. We had nothing to complain about! Now, my brother Perry and I are looking for a loving home. I hope we find one soon so that we can enjoy our kitten life.
