Yeri and Kwan safely made the journey to northern Virginia in early December 2016. While Kwan went his forever home, Yeri is staying at foster home, stilll waiting for a family of her own.

Yeri is 3 years old and weighs about 14 pounds.
Yeri and her brother Kwan were saved from a life of loneliness and isolation being tied outside for all of their lives. They had no hair under their neck because their collar was too tight.
Now, this sweet girl is under our care and has a second chance at life. Yeri is affectionate, loving, and has easy going disposition. She walks well on leash although will benefit from more basic obedience training. Yeri will easily fit into any living environment, so come by and meet this gem!
Prior to rescue, many of our dogs have experienced minimal socialization. As a result, there is often an adjustment period as the dog learns about life as a family pet. We typically do not adopt to homes with children under 8 years old; homes with older children will be considered on an individual basis. Common skills such as house training and leash walking may often take a little extra time. Patience, understanding and a gentle hand are a must. The great news is, most of these dogs come around rather quickly and being a part of their rehabilitation is an extremely rewarding experience.
