for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Harrah's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Harrah's Story...
Harrah is a sweet girl, we are guessing about 2 years old, who arrived as a stray with her 1-day-old kittens in tow! 3 months have passed, and the kittens have all found their forever homes; now it is time for Harrah to get her own family.

She is a sweet, low-key girl who is just a little bit shy. She is pretty accepting of other cats, and really enjoys hanging out quietly with a human. Harrah enjoys play time, too, but will defer to other cats, so will benefit from some one-on-one time with her person while any other kitties are busy elsewhere. She will be a good indoor only or indoor/outdoor cat; she will likely want to sleep on someone's bed, and is ready to be a special friend and companion to someone.

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Harrah is suggested minimum $40 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harrah, a Republic Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Republic, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Republic.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Republic already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Republic breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Republic paves the way for another one to be saved.
