Macy GREY - ADOPTION PENDING's Story...
MACY GRAY 5 YEAR OLD SCHNAUZER MIX

Macy is a 5 years old 30 lb Schnauzer mix that was owner surrendered covered in mats to the Garland Animal shelter, by her family who told the shelter they did not want her anymore. The shelter is a scary place. Macy was scared and was placed on the urgent list scheduled to be euthanized. Based on her fear, you can tell that she was likely mishandled or mistreated. Requires LOTS of attention & patience. Macy is an indoor only pet that requires a home with a secure yard. If there are children in the household, they need to be over 5. Macy is house and cratetrained.

If you have questions about Macy Gray please call her foster mom Aleta at 817-901-7136.

MACY'S ADOPTION FEE IS $100. She is spayed, microchipped, UTD on all vaccinations and heartworm positive. She has been treated for her heartworms using the slow kill method for 4 months now. She will have another test in February to see if we have successfully killed them.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Macy GREY - ADOPTION PENDING, a Arlington Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
