Mijo's Story...

Mijo is 7 yrs old and weighs just 5 lbs. Sadly, Mijo's dad had to be put in hospice care, so he is now with us. Mijo had his dental and is ready for his next chapter in a forever home. He is great with everyone he meets and is good with other dogs. He likes alll zeee the attention from the humans and is quite the Romeo. Mijo likes to go potty outside and does not mark in the house. He is an awesome little boy. He can be a tad yappy, but we are working on that. He walks well on a leash and acclimates easily to new surroundings.

This little guy is just adorable and really wants a home where someone is not away for too long and who likes to cuddle and hold him. Mijo wants to be with his person all the time and loves the extra TLC.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mijo, a Danbury Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Danbury, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Danbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Danbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Danbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Danbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
