My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shiner is an amazing dog in many ways. He is a total love bug and wants to please and be loved. He actually moved in with us and crawled over the fence to let himself into one of the outdoor runs to hang out with Louie. Shiner does need a privacy fence or one that he can't get traction to climb over but even if he does he will stay close by. He just wants to be with you. He is young so he gets along with all other dogs large or small. One gruff by a bigger one and he backs away - he's a lover, not a fighter! At this point he is not house trained but I believe with some consistent work, love and positive rewarding he will learn really fast. Oh and did I mention he hugs? Yes - he gives some of the best hugs ever! Shiner is a good boy and with just a little training he will be exceptional! I would suggest older kids as his energy and playfulness may knock little ones over. Are you the right family for him?

Shiner is Good with Dogs, Good with Older/Considerate Kids, Good with Adults, Quiet, Requires a yard, Likes to play with toys, Playful, Affectionate, Eager To Please, Goofy

Please note that we are a TX based rescue so all of our dogs are located in TX. We work with Rescue Roadtrips to transport our dogs to their new forever homes upon approval of adoption application. The reason we do this is because TX is a high-kill state due to it being over populated with unwanted dogs, but wonderful dogs, and finding homes in other states helps us to save more lives. Our adoption fee for the NE is $355 ($170 adoption and $185 transportation). You can find our application at www.krrtx.org/forms.
