Candi's Story...
Say hello to our sweet girl, Candi! Candi is a 6 year old Boxer/Lab/(Dalmatian??) mix with a beautiful personality and a cute face. She was transferred to us from another facility, where spending too much time in a kennel has caused sores to develop on her legs. She is currently on antibiotics and pain meds that appear to be helping. So now all she needs is a soft place to call home. Candi is said to be good with kids, and is still full of plenty of energy for playing. Her wiggly tail is a sign of her happy attitude and loving personality. She is both kennel trained and house trained, and has walked well on her leash. Candi would do best in a home where she spends most of the day with her humans. Anyone willing to give Candi a loving home, please stop by the Rescue to visit with this sweet girl.

If you want to apply for Candi, please visit the rescue and fill out an application. All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Candi, a Meridian Boxer/Dalmatian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Dalmatian for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Boxer/Dalmatian dog from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Dalmatian breeders who help with Boxer/Dalmatian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
