My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dallas is a great young dog who is going to be such a fun part of the family lucky enough to take him home! He is an active, happy-go-lucky Labrador Retriever mix and is 10 months old (as of December). We think there could be some Border Collie in there too, but whatever he is, he’s 101% adorable! Dallas is so handsome with his shiny black coat that has gorgeous snow white markings. He has learned to walk well on a leash and is crate trained. We love watching him race around the shelter yard, where he has such a good time! He truly bounces about and will leap with joy! After he is done playing, he enjoys hanging out in his “man cave” under the agility equipment. Dallas has already learned how to sit and is eager to learn more with training. He is a bright, curious and affectionate dog who is a joy to be around! He loves being petted and is so very sweet! He weighs around 35 pounds.
Our partner shelter uses the “Meet Your Match” Evaluation and Dallas was assessed to be Orange – Goofball - “I’m a fun-loving, happy-all-the-time, glass-is-half full kind of dog looking for someone who loves to laugh and play around. Must have a great sense of humor and some time to spend with me. I’m on a mission to please you.”

To learn more about Lucky Pup Rescue, please visit our website: www.luckypuprescue.org. If you have interest in any of our dogs, please fill out the application and we'll work with you to find a great match for your family: http://www.luckypuprescue.org/#!adoption-application/c1aw8.

Please note, we do not have a physical facility where our dogs are housed, they are cared for in our network of wonderful foster homes throughout New England. If you find a dog you would like to meet, our expectation is that, once approved, you will travel to meet the dog in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
