Donner's Story...
Hi, I’m Donner! I’m a young, active guy who is looking for a fun new person or family to share some adventures with. I’d make a great hiking or jogging partner! I love going for walks, playing in the exercise yard, and hanging out with my volunteer friends. I’m this month’s “Pick of the Litter,” which means that my friends at the Tri Valley Animal Rescue are sponsoring my adoption fee, and I’ll also go home with a new bed, and a goody bag filled with everything that you’ll need, to help me get settled into my new home with you!

I'm a male, tan and white Pit Bull type, possibly mixed with Boxer. I'm approximately 3 years old, and I currently weigh 58 lbs. I arrived at the shelter on 12/5/16 as a stray from San Leandro, and have been available for adoption since 12/10/16. I have been vaccinated and dewormed, and am already neutered and microchipped. I'm located in kennel A-10.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Donner, a Dublin Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer for sale in Dublin, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog from a breeder in Dublin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dublin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dublin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dublin paves the way for another one to be saved.
