My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chucky was recently adopted to a lovely family who wanted their elderly female terrier to have a new buddy after she lost hers. It was a lovely idea and for a few weeks, everyone was delighted to welcome such a happy little soul to the family. But then came the day the elder dog decided she'd rather be the only dog and tried to eliminate Chucky. Fortunately the old girl's teeth were worn and her moves weren't very speedy and the family quickly intervened. Chucky got the fright of his life, but he wasn't shredded. Despite floods of tears from the grandkids, Chucky's new owners did the responsible thing for both dogs and returned him to us. Reunited with his canine and human friends at our kennel, he's putting his scary experience behind him and getting back to his lovely self. He bears no grudges and is eager to find a home. Here's what we think Chucky would have to say about himself:  " Short and sweet – that’s me!  I’m big enough to romp with, but small enough to curl up in your lap (or under the covers) for a nice, long cuddle. I’m between one and two years old & I’m not hyper, yappy or snappy. I’ve got plenty of get up and go and I absolutely adore kids. I also love going for walks and rides and playing with other dogs. I’m bright, eager to please, easy to get along with & I don’t take up much space. Do you have room in your heart for me (and a home where I’d get lots of belly rubs & treats)?" (TIA)
