Milo's Story...
Milo is 4 years old and weighs about 105#. He is a big sweetheart and walks great on a leash. Milo has separation anxiety and would do best in a home with people who are home often and have another dog to keep him company. We were told that he does well with kids, cats and other dogs. He is housebroken and CANNOT be crated.

All animals at the shelter are fixed (spayed/neutered), fully vetted and micro-chipped before going home. Stop in to see him! The shelter is open Mondays/Wednesdays/Thursdays 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Fridays 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, Saturdays 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM, and Sundays 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM. The shelter is closed for adoptions on Tuesdays.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milo, a Greensburg Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Greensburg, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Greensburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
