Kelly's Story...
Hi there! My name is Kelly, and I'm a sweet, cherub-faced brown tabby little girl with a big personality! My siblings and I were rescued as orphans from BARC in August 2016 when we were just 3 days old, and unfortunately, I am the only surviving kitten from my litter of 7. I love to snuggle with my foster meowmy and give her many kitten kisses. I get along great with the other cats and dogs in my foster home, so there are many family environments in which I would fit in well.
Won't you come meet me so I can give you a little kitty kiss on your cheek?
Kelly is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Her adoption fee is $125 for kittens 9 months old and younger, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Kelly, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kelly, a Houston Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
