Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MISSY is a loving 1 1/2 year old boxer mix. Missy was adopted when she was 6 weeks old and kept in a dark basement in a crate for her whole life. Thanks to a kind person who heard about her plight, we were able to take her into our rescue. MISSY is now beginning to experience life at a foster home. She had never had any vetting but she is now spayed, micro-chipped and up-to-date on her basic vaccinations - a healthy girl! MISSY is super affectionate and desperately wants to bond with humans. According to her foster dad she does well on a leash, is crate-trained (although ideally she shouldn't have to be in a crate often) and is a medium energy dog. Thanks to her foster dad, MISSY is gradually learning about the world and about other dogs. We think she would do best in a quiet household, with adults who are experienced dog owners.
