I'm Kuma! Yes, I know, the ladies go ga ga over my eyes! I'm a 3yo husky/shepherd mix and weigh about 75lbs. I enjoy car rides and long walks on the beach. Okay, I don't think I've ever been to the beach but it sounds good!

I have great potty manners and I know my basic commands.. You know, sit, stay, down.. those sorts of things.

I enjoy the outdoors and I'm known for being sneaky and slipping my collar.. Don't tell my foster family! I do love me some exercise so I need an active family. I need a home without those little things walking around.. what are they called?? Oh yeah, KIDS!! Yeah, I would prefer a home without them so I can have all of the attention. I like to chase cats so it may be best to go to a home without them too. I really need someone to understand me so I really need someone who is familiar with my kind of breed.

If you'd like to meet me, please fill out an adoption application online at: www.tannerspaws.org. Hope to meet you very soon!

About Tanner's P.A.W.S.

About Our Rescue Group...

Our Mission
Protecting Animal Welfare and Safety through rescuing, sheltering, adoption, education, and population management.

Who is Tanner’s Paws?
Tanner’s P.A.W.S. was founded in memory of Tanner, a 4-legged Labrador Retriever who lost his battle to cancer on March 4th, 2011. One year later, Tanner’s P.A.W.S. held their first board meeting on March 12, 2012. Now officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization following the no-kill philosophy, Tanner’s P.A.W.S. is dedicated to the care and safety of local animals. We are determined to establish relationships and work closely with area dog control officers, shelters, SPCAs and other rescues who share in our passion. After all, we all share the ultimate goal… to save as many lives as we possibly can.
