Meet Phoebe! She is close to 30 lbs and 3 yrs old. She likes playing with other dogs and would do best with non-alpha dogs. She is very interested in cats, and as such, should go to a non-cat home. Phoebe enjoys car rides, swimming, going on walks and comfy dog beds. She is completely house trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash, spayed and heartworm negative. She likes to get up on the couch but is not big into snuggling. She has never been around kids, she would probably do best with children 8 yrs and older. She is a very curious pup, so she needs to go to a home with a well-kept fence. Her favorite past time is searching for squirrels and barking at them any chance she gets! She would not do well in an apartment. Phoebe was turned in to the shelter by her owners because they had a newborn baby and I guess didn’t have time for her. She is a wonderful dog and will make a great addition to a family.
