Queenie's Story...
http://www.valleydogs.org/queenie.html

I am looking for a warm lap to lay on. I love being held. I am currently living in a foster home with several other dogs and doing great. I like car rides and treats. I love to sleep next to my foster mom's head at night.

I use to live with a US Veteran who was home all the time but he had to go to a group home, so I need a new family. I am learning belly rubs feel good. I like to go on walks. I do bark at the other foster dogs in the home.

I love to run fast I the backyard. My previous dad said I was a runner so I need a home that can keep me home safe. Baths are not my favorite thing but I tolerate it...lol.

Do you have room for me on your lap?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Queenie, a Gilbert Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wirehaired Fox Terrier for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wirehaired Fox Terrier breeders who help with Wirehaired Fox Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
