Polly is a beautiful young, long-haired, black and white cat in need of an understanding family. She is a bit of a loner who doesn't enjoy being petted. She is gorgeous and loves lying in the sun on her back...but don't touch that tummy. Polly needs a special person who will let her adjust slowly and decide when to trust. She is currently in a foster home. If you would like more information on Polly or would like to arrange to meet her, please email Kristi at

About Kristi's Kats, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

We love cats. And we want to help them. Sometimes that means helping their people too. We started by taking care of community cats, and a litter was brought in. That started the "What's One More" mantra until we decided we needed to find homes for these guys so we could help more. This is not easy, especially since we work with special needs cats. But these cats are loveable and love to cuddle. They just want to have their own family that will love them despite their noisy breathing or snotty nose.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Currently, we are partnering with Petco. Kristi's Kats, Inc. will be holding adoption events on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays at the Lewes, Delaware location from 10 AM - 2 PM. We usually bring 2 cats, but we have plenty to choose from!

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process is an application, where we check out your vet reference. We prefer home owners to renters as landlords are not always pet friendly. Once your reference comes back ok, there is a contract and a $50 adoption fee. Remember, your cat has already been spayed or neutered, is current on shots and has been tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia. While there may be other needs that your cat needs, all the big stuff has already been done!
