Memphis's Story...
Memphis is a lab heeler mix. He is 14 weeks old and has all his shots and micro chipped. He is good with cats and plays well with other dogs. He will be neutered before going to new home. He was bought from a homeless person when he was just 8 weeks old. He was so tired those first few days he just slept and ate. He had been walking the streets with the man and was worn out. He loves chewing on pig ears and he loves going on walks. He stays in his kennel at night but on occasion he gets to sleep on sofa with his foster mom. He seems to like water and that must be from being part Labrador. I would say he will get to be about 30 pounds full grown. His paws aren't big. His fee is $120.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Memphis, a Houston Labrador Retriever/Lancashire Heeler puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Lancashire Heeler for sale in Houston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Lancashire Heeler puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Lancashire Heeler breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Lancashire Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
