Dee- In Rhode Island!'s Story...
This pooch and her five sisters were left at a rural TN shelter when they were just about 3 months old. They're closer to four months old now and ready to go! They're almost all identical so we have microchipped them to tell them apart! They are all very friendly (a little shy at first.) They love attention and they love belly rubs! She had not been on a leash before our photo shoot so it was hard to get her to stand up for a good picture. She has the most beautiful brindle fur!! This sweet pup has been spayed and is up to date and ready for her new home! We are searching for a family that wont mind that it'll take her a few days to settle in and get used to not being with her sisters. If you'd like to adopt this sweet baby please read below:
I am spayed, heartworm negative and up to date on her vaccinations. She is microchipped and on a heartworm and flea preventative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dee- In Rhode Island!, a Portland Plott Hound/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Portland, or seeking a Plott Hound/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Plott Hound/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
