Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This brindle beauty is Harvest. Harvest is a 60lb 2-year-old male Pittie-mix. He is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Harvest is housetrained and has free roam when his people are home. Harvest is crated when his person is away; left loose, he might troll for goodies in the trash and eat something harmful. Harvest likes to go for rides with his people and has been fine when left in the vehicle for short periods of time. Intelligence is practically Harvest’s middle name. He knows: Sit and Paw, and is learning: High-Five, Lay-Down, and Go-Potty. Harvest is a playful happy boy. Harvest loves his people and dogs that comparable in size. He’s noticed the caged-birds and shows no interest. Sometimes he needs a little reminder of “No-Bite,” when playing with people—puppy-ish Harvest is just a big baby who aims to please and wouldn’t hurt a fly on purpose. While he is currently in a child-free home, we think he would do well with older children. When Harvest first arrived at his foster home, he was “wolfing” down his food quickly and could behave a little aggressively toward other dogs when eating, but he is easily corrected. He came from a southern shelter and was very underweight and food insecure . . . always hungry. Harvest has had a challenging first two years of life, but he is still a great boy, a quick learner, a snuggle-bug and a total lover boy. Harvest would thrive in a home with a strong patient leader to give Harvest guidance and of course, lots of love. He would make a great companion for an active person, especially one with the ability to take him to work with them. Let’s show Harvest the true meaning of his name and provide him with a home where he is never food insecure again and where love is also bountiful.
