My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

KILO HAS BEEN ADOPTED!Kilo is a very handsome, mild mannered and gentle Pittie mix in need of a loving forever home. He's a young fellow, just about a year old and he weighs around 56 pounds. Kilo loves people and he loves other dogs, he is a great ambassador for his breed. Being a young dog, he likes to run and play, but he also knows when it's time to calm down and loves to snuggle. He's got a happy-go-lucky attitude that is infectious to all who meet him. Unfortunately, because of his breed, Kilo has been passed up time and time again for adoption or rescue, this sweet boy deserves a loving family. Could it be yours?! Kilo is currently awaiting rescue/adoption from a kill-shelter in rural Kentucky. We would love to help him out, but all of our foster homes are filled. Pal's Place has no shelter facility and relies entirely on foster homes and paid boarding. We can only save as many dogs as we have adoptive or foster homes for! If interest is shown in him, Kilo can be transported to Chicago. He will be fully vetted and prepared for adoption or a foster home. If seriously interested in possibly adopting or fostering (fosters must be in or very near Chicago) this deserving pup, please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com**PLEASE NOTE: IF INTERESTED IN FOSTERING YOU MUST BE IN CHICAGO OR IN A NEIGHBORING SUBURB**

• Kilo’s adoption donation is $275. This donation helps to cover his neuter, initial vaccines, initial worming and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Kilo from euthanasia.

• Please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com for an adoption application and please put the name of the dog in the subject line. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder; sometimes the applications end up in there!

• All of our dogs are in foster homes are can be seen BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, after an approved application has been received. To receive more info please email palsplace1@hotmail.com. Email is the preferred method of contact and is the quickest way to receive a response. We cannot place holds on our dogs, please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt.
