Bucky's Story...
Bucky is an 4 year old Rat Terrier. He has a lot of years ahead of himself. He is in excellent health. Bucky is heart worm negative and on preventative; he is neutered, micro chipped and current with his vaccinations. Bucky is an excellent house dog; he is house and crate trained. Bucky gets along with dogs, cats and loves everyone he meets. His owner went to a nursing home and no family member could take care of him so he went to a shelter. He is now in our Rescue and doing great. He is a happy dog. If you are interested in giving Bucky a loving home, send me an email to obtain an adoption application. There is an adoption application, adoption agreement and an adoption donation of $150.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bucky, a San Antonio Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
