Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pete was born in Germany when his family purchased him. But three years later, Pete became more of a burden then a family member. This gorgeous boy was so confused when they turned him over to us; torn from the only home he'd ever known he cried for days. Now he is beginning to see that life is good and has turned on the charm. Pete is wonderful with the other dogs and is very good with the cats. When it's time to go out in the morning Pete has to go first, he's that kinda guy. Once he gets to know you he is loving and affectionate, a big hugger! Pete is uncertain of new people and takes a few minutes to warm up so he cannot be quickly approached by strangers. Once he sees you are friend, not foe, he is your new buddy! Pete has been brought up to date on shots, neutered and is a big healthy boy. He weighs about 50 lbs at 3 years old. Pete's hair will get longer but his owner cut it. He does have a big fluffy tail. If you would like Pete to join your family, please copy and paste this link to your web browser to fill out our online application, http://members.petfinder.com/~CT243/sampleform.html. Full vetting and transport up north included in his $425 adoption fee. We are working on house breaking Pete. Adopters should be very familiar with the herding breed and their needs.
