Dog's Name: Chloe
Estimated Breed: JRT/Chi Mix
Approximate Age: 3 months
Approximate Weight: 5 lbs
Currently Living at: Foster
Adoption Fee: $350
Chloe and her momma, Cornette, were owner surrenders to a high kill shelter down south. These babies were in jail for a month and nobody adopted them...their time was up and K-9 lifesavers stepped in to save them. These two are cute as can be, super sweet and friendly, good with dogs of any size, and all around a wonderful addition to your family. I am requiring they be adopted together as 'Baby Bear', Chloe, is totally bonded to 'Momma Bear', Cornette, and will scream and cry when separated from her. They need a bit of work on house training, are somewhat cautious, but are coming around fairly quickly. They are lovely little gals.
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention, monthly flea/tick prevention, and our transport costs. As part of the adoption agreement, adopters agree to get the pup spayed/neutered. K-9 Lifesavers does not cover the cost of spay/neuter for puppies 6 months or younger.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home. For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/?page_id=64 or email our Foster Coordinator at email@example.com
