Pickles's Story...
Pickles is a sweet boy who enjoys the cat tree and loves to play with anything. He gets along with all of the other cats in his foster home but is scared of dogs.

Pickles enjoys time with the kids in his foster home but is still getting used to the big world around him. He is scared of new things at first but adjusts.

This guy's fur is soft and he loves to be petted and held. He rewards you with a loud purr.

All adoptable pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about adoption, please contact Camp Companion at 507-951-7801, www.campcompanion.org, or find us on Facebook!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pickles, a Rochester Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
