Sabayonne's Story...
Sabayonne is the classic example of why people need to research breeds and breeders. Sabayonne is a high-percentage Pyr mix who lives only to worship and please her people and she bonds quickly and deeply with new owners. She believes it's her job to keep any and all nuisances from her people, including other dogs. Sabayonne's breeder sold her to someone who didn't understand her breed instincts and didn't appreciate her unique personality. The owner didn't care enough to take the time to learn about Sabayonne and teach her basic obedience. Sabayonne's exhuberant loving nature was wrongly interpreted as unruliness and bossiness. Owner dumped Sabayonne, matted and full of ticks, at a kill shelter.

That person's loss can be your family's gain. Take the time to learn about and appreciate Sabayonne's breed instincts, teach her basic obedience so you can communicate your needs to her, and you will rewarded with one of the finest canine companions for children. Sabayonne would do best in a home with children but without cats or other dogs because she will try to "protect" the children from them. Away from her "flock" Sabayonne gets along with other animals.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sabayonne, a Kyle Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Kyle, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Kyle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kyle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kyle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kyle paves the way for another one to be saved.
