Samuel's Story...
This handsome boy is Samuel. He is a 1-2 year old American bulldog/lab mix. He is about 50lbs and a true lover boy. He loves people, loves to snuggle and even makes cute grunting sounds when he is all snuggled in. Samuel does best with female dogs, and can do ok with submissive males. He does not like cats. He is working on crate training and doing very well! Samuel has not had a very fair start to life but is such a wonderful, loyal dog. We decided to save him from death row - now its his turn to find his happy ever after. Please consider opening up your heart and home to this sweet boy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Samuel, a Allentown American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Allentown, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
