Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet Sammy is a staff favorite and possibly one of the nicest cats that we have had the pleasure of caring for at BRHS. Sammy is a soft-hearted guy that loves love, and will thank you for the attention with his gentle purr, expert eye hugs and twitchy, happy tail. More than almost anything, Sammy loves sweet talking. Sweet talk this cat and he will flop over in delight or make one of his signature air biscuits, possibly the slowest biscuits in recorded kitty history. Sammy is one of those cats that make you wonder about the possibility of kitty self-awareness. Does he know he's being cute? Why else would he look at you with that expression? Why would he do that ridiculous slow biscuit in the air thing? Our theory, and the only explanation, is that Sammy knows that he is cute. The results are comical and adorable.
Sammy is an absolutely beautiful kitty and you'd never guess his respectable age of 10 years. He seems to be in great health and even had a recent dental cleaning, so his teeth are squeaky clean! Sammy has years of love left to give to a very lucky person and promises that to make you laugh and feel loved every day he spends with you.
Sammy is fine with other cats after a brief getting to know you period, any may do OK with a mellow older dog that gives him his personal space. We all adore this sweet guy and will miss him when he's gone, but we just know a family is out there that just won't be complete without Sammy.
