Fab's Story...
This beautiful girl is named Fab and we think she is just Fabulous!!  She is a "special kitty" with "special needs. You see,  Fab was born with a neurological condition called "Cerebellar Hypoplasia", commonly known as CH.  This disorder does not get better or worse with age and CH felines have a normal life expectancy. Her CH condition causes Fab to have balance issues such as "jerky" movements and an uncoordinated gait.  She has adapted to her condition and she thinks she is just perfect.  Fab does everything a "normal" feline can do.  She eats on her own, cleans herself, plays,  runs and uses the litter pan on her own.  Fab celebrates her birthday in May 2016.  She was the "runt" of her litter and was spoiled by the volunteers.  She loves to be held and talked to and she purrs and purrs when cuddled.  Fab is up to date on her boosters and has tested negative for both Feline Aids and Leukemia.  If you are interested in adopting this very special kitty, please contact Cats Bridge to Rescue on 215-987-8961

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fab, a Trevose Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Trevose, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Trevose.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Trevose already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Trevose breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Trevose paves the way for another one to be saved.
