Thanks to our volunteers and faithful supporters who contributed towards her surgery, Patty will now have a pain free life. In Feb and July 2017 Patty had FHO surgery on both hips. The surgeries have made such a difference for Patty – she’s now able to walk and run, without any restrictions. Only about 7 years old, Patty has a long and healthy life ahead of her. Now she needs a family to love her.
Patty is an easy going girl, she loves children and would be happy to share a household with a large fur-brother. Lying on her bed, hanging out with her people, Patty is a wonderful companion. She would benefit from a daily dose of Dasuquin, to maintain joint health. Additionally, Patty will be on 50 mg of an anti-inflammatory for the rest of her life. A bottle of 180 tablets is about $100. Hard surfaced floors, such as hardwood or laminate, are a challenge for Patty, where she cannot get good traction. Outside on grass, inside on carpeting/runners or with booties on, Patty is agile and mobile.
Patty loves being brushed, we had no problem clipping her nails. Super friendly with children, and reliably house trained, Patty has had free run of the house without being destructive. If you are interested in adopting Patty, our adoption fee is $250. Request an application from email@example.com
