Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Susie is a bouncy and loving 50-pound, seven-year-old, fawn and white female purebred Boxer looking for a loving guardian.
Susie has been great with every human being and every dog that I’ve introduced her to from a tiny five pound Chihuahua to a large Doberman! She appears to loves all dogs and all people. However, she does jump up and can easily knock over a small child, so she’s recommended for families with kids over 10 years of age.
Susie was found stray on the south side of Chicago emaciated and full of parasites … roundworms and Giardia. She is eating a lot and on meds to make her healthy and she’s gaining weight each week!
Susie is housebroken and crate-trained. And, in this frigid Chicago weather, she does her business very quickly and is ready to come back inside; she is not an Arctic breed!
Susie is healthy, spayed, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, and heartworm-tested negative, and on monthly heartworm preventative. She had a complete physical including blood-work and urinalysis and everything was perfectly normal.
She is currently living with me in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood. Her adoption fee of $200 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits.
