SOSA's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, a special needs pet, and up to date with shots.

SOSA's Story...
Say hello to Sosa, he is a really sweet big boy! Due to his size, he is really strong. He was picked up off the streets by animal control and although his owner was located, they signed him over to the shelter. Sosa is up to date on shots, neutered, and microchipped. Sadly he has tested positive for heartworms, but with treatmen, he should be good as new in no time. Please speak to your veterinarian regarding treatment options. Sosa is 7 years old, his ID is 590884, he is in run 21 and weighs a whopping 126 lbs! If you can give this boy the medical care he needs, and can give Sosa a good home, please consider adopting him!

When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SOSA, a Marietta Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
