Willie is a handsome boy who has had a rough life. He's living the good life now, and starting to trust people again. Willie Nelson is good with dogs of all sizes, but can play rough with little ones. Willie prefers to meet dogs off-leash, and is a favorite at the daycare he attends. He was never properly leash trained and easily gets frustrated on-leash when he sees another dog.

Willie's FAVORITE thing in the world is relaxing. He loves comfortable furniture and beds. He also enjoys backrubs and butt scratches. He's pretty easy to please and spends most of his time sleeping. Willie is house broken, does not need to be kenneled, and knows basic commands. He will sit, shake, lay down, and stay.

He will need proper introductions to all people to build trust and self-confidence. Willie has done well with all new people if he is given time and space and lots of hot dog treats to meet a new stranger. He is slow to warm up, but very loving once he builds trust with a new person. He has shown so much progress in training and will need a patient owner to continue to work with him.

He is an absolutely amazing dog that wants nothing more than to please you and be loved.
