My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello humans! I am a super smart, intuitive, sweet and funny 3 year old girl named Hope. I'm kind of on the smaller side, since I only weigh about 45 pounds. I have grown up around kids, other dogs and cats. I'm housebroken (my mom says I've never had an accident in the house since I was really little), I'm crate trained and happy to spend some time in  my crate, I know general commands and even a few tricks! I LOVE LOVE LOVE (did I mention LOVE?!?!) to play fetch!!! Sometimes it takes a little work to get me to give my toy or stick back once I get it, but its so hard to let it go because I also LOVE a good game of tug-of-war! (I mean, who doesn't, am I right?!?!?) I am a snuggler and love to be with my people whenever I'm inside. I am frequently called "spoiled" because I sleep in the bed with my humans whenever they will let me, I always want to be next to them on the couch, and in cold weather, I run right in the front door and straight to the hearth, to lie in front of the fireplace and warm my piggies. I can be naughty if I'm left alone too much (and not in my crate), because I try to entertain myself and apparently chewing things isn't always the best choice...who knew?!? I've decided I like to go for rides, since my people take me to a place with a big, yellow sign and buy me a burger every time we go anywhere. Other than that, I am pretty laid back and happy to chill most of the time.

Hope's adoption fee is $200.  This includes her vaccinations, microchip, and neuter.  If you're interested to bring Hope into your family, please apply online at www.nashvillepittie.org/adoption_application.html
