My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lady!!!!! She is about 4-5 years old Pointer/Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd mix. She is about 45 lbs. She is already spayed, microchipped and received UTD shots. She was surrendered to a local shelter by her previous owner because they were moving. Currently she is with our rescue group and looking for her forever home.
She is a little shy at the beginning but takes very short time (like 5 -30 min) to warm up with new people. She is actually very affectionate and sweet.
She gets shy with other dogs at the beginning and may show a little confusion, but she warms up with them very quickly as well.. We guess her shelter experience traumatized her and her shyness has been caused from the scary experience. She is so loving and highly trainable. She ignored other dogs on the street during the walk and also has been doing very well at the group training class with other dogs around. She does better with a submissive dog but will be happy as an only dog in household as well. She is great with older children but we don't recommend her to be around smaller children. She can be very sweet with young children but may be confused with them. If you are interested, please go to our website: www.dogzhaus.org and fill out "adoption application" online.
