Betsy's Story...
Betsy is one of 7 girls born to Mommy Chelsea on October 28th. Chelsea was pulled from the shelter already pregnant so that she could have her babies in comfort and not on a cold cement floor. Chelsea is a min pin mix, perhaps with Jack Russell. We have no idea who the father of the pups was. Betsy was named after one of the volunteer overnighters who had her stay at her home overnight while we waited for the morning transport. These pups will be available to go to their new home in December 26th after their first set of vaccines are given.

Betsy can be distinguished from her two other tan colored sisters as half her tail is black. She is timid but enjoys the attention from her foster family. She likes to play with her siblings and toys. She, like her sisters is very quiet. She will not get to be more than 20bs when full grown is our guess. Betsy has a short coat.

They are on a diet of Royal Canin dry small breed food and provided bottled water exclusively. They have been dewormed every two weeks since birth.

A fully fenced yard is mandatory as well as a Veterinarian reference.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Betsy, a Duart Miniature Pinscher/Jack Russell Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Duart, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Jack Russell Terrier puppy from a breeder in Duart.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Duart already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Duart breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Duart paves the way for another one to be saved.
