Raison was one of 4 dogs dumped at the end of a dirt road. A woman living on the road had been feeding them for about a month, but was afraid that with deer hunting season they would be killed. She called a woman who rescues dogs who contacted Eleventh Hour Rescue. Now Raison is safe at last, but he would love to find a forever home.
Raison is a male Shepherd mix, approximately 2 years old, and weighing around 45 pounds. He is such a sweet boy who loves to take his toys and throw them in the air, he can entertain himself or you can play with him - he's a pretty versatile guy, huh! He loves everyone and everything - he gets along with people, young and old, and he is find with other dogs and even with cats! Now Raison is waiting for his chance to come to New Jersey and find a forever home.
From his foster mom down south....
When I go to feed him, he loves to play, I get down on my haunches and he does too, he will run all around the pen. He smiles at me.
If I was not married I would take him home with me.
He will be one of those dogs that will love you forever and unconditionally, but will take time to share emotion.
If you're interested in meeting Raison, go to EHRDOGS.ORG and submit an application. Don't forget to ask for RAISON HAVARD!!!!
