Copper is a male Chihuahua approximately 6 years in age. He is very tiny, weighing only 4 1/2 pounds full grown. Copper is a perfect little gentleman and absolutely delightful to be around. He is such a good boy, easy to care for, affectionate, quiet, and sweetly tempered. Copper has simple needs which center around seeking warmth and cozy things. He adores soft doggie beds, fuzzy blankets, sweaters and jackets. Copper will usually burrow down under the covers at night or tuck himself in to a doggie bed under a thick blanket. He pitter patters silently around the house, keeping you company and minding his manners all the while. Copper loves to be held and sit in laps. He is a snuggly boy and was born to be pampered. He does prefer yummy treats and has a list of his favorites. Copper likes short walks and will investigate the yard at a leisurely pace when outside. He is good with other dogs and enjoys the company of canine companions his size, although he does not appear to be very playful. He is more of a cuddler. Copper is very sweet and gentle, but he is not recommended for children since he is way too tiny. He needs a quiet home where he is protected and kept safe and secure. Copper was rescued from a high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was brought in stray. He is a wonderful little guy and very easy to fall head over heels in love with. Copper has been vet checked and is ready for his new forever home today!
Copper’s adoption donation is $375 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Copper is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Phyllis and Richard and is ready for his forever home.
