Tangle's Story...
Tangle is an 11 week old, 7lb, Lab/shepherd/mutt. We honestly are not too sure about her breeds since they the woman who dropped them off didn't give any information. We are thinking maybe some other kind of Collie or a Chow Chow, because her brother is incredibly fluffy.

Tangle was brought to a shelter with her 4 brothers and sisters. They were all in pretty good health, but the woman who brought them in still asked for them to be euthanized because they were an "accidental litter" and she did not want the responsibility of taking care of them. Our rescue couldn't let these sweet babies lose their lives at such a young age so we took them into our rescue. They were only 9 weeks old when they were dropped off, but now they are 11 weeks old and ready to find their forever homes.

Tangle is sweet and snuggly, but also playful. She does have a lot of puppy energy at times and loves to rough house with her siblings and the fosters bigger dog. She is also good at relaxing, but only once she has had a good play session. Tangle is happy all the time and always has a smile on her face, just like her sister Twinkle. She loves to snuggle with her sister and love on her with licks and kisses. With the right socialization she will be the most perfect, loving, affectionate dog. Once it's nap time Tangle loves nothing more than to snuggle up close with her siblings in their bed, or with her foster mom on the couch. The foster mom says she is the cutest little thing with her fluffy little butt and happy personality. She will always bring a smile to your face. Tangle will be such a great size for a hiking companion in the beautiful CO mountains. We do believe that Tangle would be great for most types of families. She would do great with another dog to show her the way or with gentle, loving kids. She would also be great for an active individual or couple who want a hiking/running/walking dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tangle, a Boulder Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Boulder, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Boulder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boulder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boulder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boulder paves the way for another one to be saved.
