Buddah's Story...
That’s right, Buddah’s my name, and as it suggests, I am a supreme little being. I have descended from the heavens into this handsome body of mine to win over your love. It was lonely in the skies looking down upon the earth and watching all the dogs and their masters loving each other, so I decided it was time to come down and hang with the common folks for a change. So far I enjoy playing with toys, receiving lots of attention from humans, going for walks, and I think playing fetch is the best thing ever!!! I enjoy roughhousing with other dogs, and I have lived with cats (I must admit I do love chasing them!), but I have a bit of an issue sharing my goodies, so don’t expect me to share my food, treats, or toys with others. This means a family with children 12+ will be best for me. I’m just a young adult, so I act mostly like a grown-up, but I still have a playful puppy side. Overall I’m a very, very sweet, sensitive, handsome, and playful guy who would love to bring a little spirituality into your life. Did I mention I’m housebroken and crate trained too? Would you expect anything less? 2 years old-45lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddah, a Portland Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
