Mistletoe's Story...
Hi my name is Mistletoe! When I was just 2 weeks old I was found all by myself in a bush!Luckily a nice lady found me and kept me safe, warm, and fed until she could find me a rescue to go to. I had to be bottle fed every few hours because I was so tiny, now Im big and strong and looking for my forever family! Im a very affectionate kitten, did you know bottle babies are extra sweet? I purr purr purr every time I see foster mama. I rub my little nose on her lips waiting for kisses. I also really love to play, especially with my foster friends. Im hoping someone has room in their home and heart for two of us. If not I hope theres already another kitty at home I can be BFFs with. Hope to meet you soon! Love, Mistletoe

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mistletoe, a Tampa Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
