Snow Queen's Story...
Alright, world, here I am!
I am the Queen, The Snow Queen, Queen of all I survey, Queen of the world! Tap, tap, tap, goes the tiny white paw; excuse me, might you have room on your lap for a soft kitty who wants to snuggle under your chin?
Whoosh, swoosh, swish…..”Did you just see something fly past?”
“I don’t know, I was typing, what do you think it was?”
“White blur, not sure.”
“Oh, just Snow Queen…. She is in squiggy mode.”
All of these are moods I have experienced with the Snow Queen as a foster cat. She is a delight! Full of surprises and stunningly beautiful. If you look up the Turkish Van, you will see similar cats. She has the silky smooth coat and the characteristic gray marking on her head. She also has a tiny bit of gray on her tail.
Snow Queen is a wonderful loving cat who really wants her very own family. She will delight you with her playful ways and melt your heart when she sits with you and snuggles in close and tucks her head in under your chin and purrs. I was lucky enough to be able to foster her for a while and fell in love with her. My own family of very opinionated and dominant cats did not want to share their person, and neither did she. She got along great with my dog! She is so silky smooth to stroke, and she moves with absolutely elegant grace.
She can be silly. Then, I called her “Squiggy” or my “ little squirrel”; or she can be haughty proud and look like the most regal queen of all, sometimes within minutes of each other. She has a fine sense of humor and will never leave you bored. She loves interactive toys and tall cat trees!
She is so sweet and anxious to please. As of December 2016, Snow Queen is approximately one year old. She was rescued off of St. Clair County, IL's euthanasia list. Snow Queen gets along great with people, kids, dogs. She would be much better as an only cat, though, as she doesn't want to share attention.
