My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Lilly! I’m a super sweet girl once I get to know you. I’ve had a rough go at life, constantly being passed from person to person and place to place, until recently. Because of my history, I’m a little nervous but my foster parents have really helped me to not be so worried.
I’m really quick at picking up commands and tricks. I know sit, shake, stay, and leave a treat until I’m told to eat it. I don’t jump up on people, but I definitely like giving kisses and will take all the belly rubs I can get. I like to play out in the yard and eat the grass. When it’s nice out, I try to sunbathe some too! I like a good game of chase-the-ball or keep-away. Even though I like exercise, I’m equally content to relax and cuddle with my foster parents and watch some Netflix. Being with my people is my favorite thing in the world. I don't need other dogs, cats or those darn squirrels. When I'm out for a walk, the world seems like such a huge place that I tend to get excited, but I know "wait" at street corners, or "leave it" or "easy" for squirrel watching.
I’m really good in the house, too! I have a bed that I sleep in during the days and at night. I like the bed up on the couch, but I think my foster parents are going to try to get me to sleep in that bed in my kennel soon. As long as my blanket goes with the bed, I think I’ll be okay with it.
I've been blessed with a crazy good metabolism, you know the kind that girls say they wish they had- I have it! I love to eat, so my next family will have to feed me that yummy quality food that I see sitting in the kitchen.
I am a really good girl and I’d really like to find someone who is willing to continue my training. I’m really smart and motivated to learn, especially if you reward me with treats.
I hope you have a loving, stable home for me to come to permanently; I sure am tired of moving around, and all I really want is a forever family! I will always be loving and loyal, and I will always be ready to learn. Love, Lilly
