My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pockets looks like Shih tzu/maltipoo mix.. He is approx 11 weeks old and 5.5 lbs as of 12/15/16. He is a very independent, energetic and inquisitive puppy. He enjoys playing with the other dogs and his toys all day, and will follow you everywhere. He will need some house and leash/harness training,. He will need a home with another dog as a playmate. No children under 8 and he will be available in mid-January.


The total adoption donation of $575 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Just as a note, if you are in Massachusetts and are adopting directly from Texas rather than from a local foster, there are new quarantine laws in effect. All rescues must be quarantined 48 hours at a state run facility, and in addition, a second interstate health certificate is required to be issued by a Massachusetts vet. This new law may add an additional cost.
